Housing Services

Shelter Outreach - Housing Services

SAFE Haven of Racine Housing Services provides young adults ages 18-24, rental assistance, escrow assistance, mentorship and life resources. SAFE Haven of Racine Housing Services supports young adults as they transition from housing instability to safe, independent living. The program provides short to medium term rental assistance to help young adults secure and maintain stable housing, reducing the immediate barrier of affordability. Beyond financial support, housing services immerse the young adult in individualized mentorship and coaching. Each young adult is paired with a Systems Navigator who provides consistent guidance, goal planning, and accountability.

Mentorship focuses on developing independent living skills such as budgeting, employment readiness, conflict resolution, tenant education, and time management. Young adults are connected to critical life resources that strengthen overall well-being. This includes connection to education and vocational training, workforce development opportunities, mental health services, health care, transportation supports, and community-based programs. By combining housing assistance with mentorship and holistic supportive services, Housing Services empower young adults to achieve stability, increase self-sufficiency and build a strong foundation for long term success.
